Prof. Kapila Perera, Secretary to the Ministry of Education, said that various strategies are being tested on how to advance the educational activities of students in line with health care guidelines.

He said that in view of the current situation, steps have been taken to provide home-based education to students through 20 television channels.

Prof. Kapila Perera pointed out that the learning activity of the students through this television channel will be conducted from 7.30 am to 1.30 pm in such a way as to offset the threat of future tsunami and current corona epidemic.
