Minister of State for Education Pial Nishantha said he was looking forward to negotiating with state-owned banks to implement a concessional loan scheme for public school teachers to purchase Tab or Smart Mobile Phones.
The State Minister further said that in the face of the Covid-19 crisis, teachers are making great sacrifices to educate their students and not only the difficulties of the students but also the difficulties of the teachers should be taken into consideration.

Covid-19 நெருக்கடியை எதிர்கொண்டுள்ள நிலையில், ஆசிரியர்கள் தங்கள் மாணவர்களுக்கு கல்வி கற்பிப்பதற்காக பெரும் தியாகத்தை செய்து வருவதாகவும், மாணவர்களின் சிரமங்களை மட்டுமல்லாது, ஆசிரியர்களின் சிரமங்களையும் கவனத்திற் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றும் இராஜாங்க அமைச்சர் மேலும் தெரிவித்தார்.
