Education Minister Prof G.L Peiris says the education ministry is considering to reopen schools below 100 students capacity on July month.
Government has taken steps to vaccinate teachers and other staff prior to reopening schools.
There are nearly 3000 schools in Sri Lanka which have less than 100 students.
Education Minister further says that the government’s plan is to re-open remaining schools under several phases.

பாடசாலைகளை மீண்டும் திறப்பதற்கு முன்னர் ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் பிற ஊழியர்களுக்கு தடுப்பூசி போட அரசு நடவடிக்கை எடுத்துள்ளது.
இலங்கையில் 100 க்கும் குறைவான மாணவர்களைக் கொண்ட கிட்டத்தட்ட 3000 பாடசாலைகள் உள்ளன.
மீதமுள்ள பாடசாலைகளை பல கட்டங்களின் கீழ் மீண்டும் திறப்பதே அரசாங்கத்தின் திட்டம் என்று கல்வி அமைச்சர் மேலும் தெரிவித்தார்.
